A Little Creativity

Saving an Earring
and
a Easy Fun Food

Flowers for the Block Party last night
Back to school and work for everyone!

I volunteered to bring a food item to my daughters school's staff meeting - I made fruit kabobs!
Fun, easy and who doesn't want a doughnut once in a while!  I make these with what ever fruit is in season and thread them on a bamboo skewer. Cut up mango's, strawberries, blackberries - add doughnut holes and I've got a special treat for my kids to kick off summer or welcome the first weekend after school has started!

The parents provide lunch to the high schools monthly staff meeting - this is my contribution today!
That was easy!  Yummy too!

Redo for an earring -
it's now a necklace!  I wore it last night at the block party - it started as a shell
From a shell, it was an earring I used to wear.  Like many earrings from long ago, only one remained - so I restrung it into a necklace!  The chain and loop were a simple purchase from the craft store.
I love the light colors - different natural shades of brown to a pearly white.  This makes a good piece to travel with - I won't be heartbroken if it gets crushed in the suitcase or lost.
I have to say - this is an easy does it Monday!
