I love this picture of a painting - inspiration, I am trying to draw cats for a children's book I am working on, 
I am going to try this painting - on fabric!
This summer (so I can do it outside) I am going to staple white fabric to four stretcher bars, then I am going to sketch out a sticky tree with bees wax
like batik artists do. The wax blocks out the dye, so when I apply the dye - red background/white tree!
Kitchen tip!
I peel fresh ginger root and add that with lemon to my tea or water - suppose to help with joint pain by reducing inflammation (pencils, paintbrushes, needles and thread! all the fun stuff!) the best way to peel ginger is with a spoon tip! A knife will just cut of too much of your ginger, less waste this way!
